Families participated in a variety of activities using Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math including building their own rockets during STEAM Night. 

Second graders explored pumpkins by taking a virtual field trip to a pumpkin farm to learn about the different types of pumpkins.

North STEAM Academy fourth graders learn leadership traits through the Academy 4 program.

Kindergartners built their own greenhouses to learn about the plant life cycle and the importance of greenhouses.

North Elementary STEAM Academy fourth graders in Abby Tyler’s class became detectives looking for text evidence during a recent unit review. They investigated the disappearance of Amelia Earheart.  

Third grade students use Dash robots to learn coding in their Lisa Williams' Technology class. North STEAM Academy students attend the class daily as well as a STEAM block as part of the school's curriculum. 

First graders use Scratch Jr. to create a character who explains the life cycle and what occurs during each stage. The lesson was part of the students’ daily Technology class that’s part of the STEAM Academy curriculum. 

Third graders work together to build a compound machine that will rescue a trapped zoo animal during Becky Marx's STEAM class.
