North Kindergartners Build Green Houses to Learn About Plant Life Cycle

Kindergartners at the North Elementary STEAM Academy built their own green houses to learn about the plant life cycle and the importance of green houses. "Mine is protected from the wind, and it helps the air go into it," said Knox Libick. The kids then presented their greenhouses to their peers, sharing the materials they used, facts they'd learned about greenhouses, and what's necessary for plants to grow. The activity also helped the students review shapes.
