North became a STEAM Academy this year, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) into every subject. 

The White Settlement ISD Education Foundation awarded Principal Connie Bitters and Technology Coordinator Amy Barton a $2,300 STEAMing Ahead with Engineering grant for the purchase of the 3D printer.
